HARRY HARRISON

Harry Harrison has been a popular radio personality, primarily in New York City, for over 50 years.

Harrison is the only DJ to be a WMCA "Good Guy," a WABC "All-American," and a morning show host on WCBS-FM for many years. In 2003, after a 44-year career in New York radio, Harrison left WCBS-FM, saying "I am not retiring." His farewell to his loyal radio audience was held before a live audience at the Museum of Television and Radio in New York City. Harrison returned later that decade to WCBS FM, again, with a weekend program featuring the The Beatles music.

Harrison’s nearly 50 years of NYC radio was preceded by stints in both Chicago and Peoria before making his way to WMCA.

Harry Harrison passed away on January 28th, 2020.
