COLIN COWHERD
Colin Cowherd is known for his declarative commentary and distinctive voice in the world of sports broadcasting. He is considered one of the top sports broadcasters of his era. Colin Cowherd began his broadcasting career as a local sports TV anchor before moving to radio in 2001 with a three-hour radio daily program in Portland, Oregon, on KFXX 910-AM. He first gained nationwide attention as the host of The Herd with Colin Cowherd, which debuted on ESPN Radio in 2003. His mix of opinion, analysis, and storytelling quickly made the show one of the network's most popular programs.
In 2015, he left ESPN and joined iHeartMedia and FOX Sports where The Herd was relaunched on FS1 and FOX Sports Radio, distributed by Premiere Networks. The radio program airs on 400+ radio stations. He also co-founded The Volume in 2021, a podcast network that gives athletes and creators a platform to share their opinions.
In addition to his work on radio and TV, Cowherd has authored books, including his 2013 release, You HERD Me!, a New York Times bestseller.
